General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

BSc Nursing

G.N.M. is a 3-year Diploma course followed by 6 months of mandatory internship. G.N.M. Course train students to become nurses in community or medical institutions.

The basic eligibility criteria for GNM Admission is that candidates must have completed their class 12th with physics, chemistry, and biology with a minimum of 40% marks.

GNM Syllabus consists of subjects like Medical Surgical Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Midwifery, Gynecological Nursing etc. GNM 1st Year subjects are Bio-Science, Behavioural Sciences, Nursing Foundations, Community Health Nursing etc.

Candidates who complete the GNM course can pursue careers in Nursing such as Clinical Nurse Specialists, Legal Nurse Consultants, Forensic Nurses, Traveling Nurses, and so on.
